Lemuel Thomas Holman went home to be with the Lord and made his transition on Monday, December 22, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

He was born on November 6, 1961, at Beyer Memorial Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Eddie and Lois Holman Jr.

He resided in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and worked as a Direct Care Worker at Bortz Health Care Facilities, Inc. Known for his kind heart, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars alongside his uncle, a pastime that brought him both joy and cherished memories.

He was baptized at Messias Temple Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and received the gift of the Holy Spirit at Faith Temple Apostolic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Lois Holman Jr.; his sister, Geraldine Weightman; and his brother, Craig Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memory his four children: Thomas, Cieara, Lorenzo, and Chasity Holman; his sisters, Gwendolyn (Adam) Moore and Lorraine (Charles) Blanks; his brothers, Keith (Dalphine) Holman, Bradford (Segred) Holman, Norman (Angie) Holman, Rodney (Sandra) Holman, Reggie (Eleanor) Holman, and Julian (Chris) Holman; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special relationship with his uncle, Joseph Madden.

Services will be held at Messias Temple Church, Ypsilanti, Michigan, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. The family hour will begin at 10 am, with the service to follow at 11 am.

Visitation will be held at Stark Funeral Professionals on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 6-8 pm.
