Burton, Larry "Sonny" "Possum"

Belleville/Ypsilanti, MI

Age 65, passed away January 26, 2025. He was born May 8, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Kathleen (Buster) and Pierce Burton.

Possum loved motorcycles, guns, knives, and doing the poker run. He had a fondness for animals and adored his family; it was family over everything for Larry.

Sonny is survived by his sisters Anne Burton and Nancy Burton; several nieces and nephews, and his cats Butch and Sonny.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his shadow and twin brother Gary "Butch" Burton, and sister Carolyn Sue Bocock.

The family has chosen simple cremation.
