Larry Milo Prince, 81, passed away at his home in Ypsilanti January 13, 2022.

He was a retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer and served 30 years. He was stationed in the Philippines, Iceland, Guam, Japan and Hawaii where he retired in 1987.

Larry relocated to Ypsilanti, Michigan after the death of his mother to be closer to family in 1995. He enjoyed woodworking, and learning to play the guitar as well as a Burger King Whopper Jr. minus the pickles and a large fry.

Larry was the oldest son of James Robert Prince and Flossie Naomi Lesley Vosburgh.

Surviving are two sons, James Scott (Julia) Prince, Orange Park, FL., Kenneth Lee Prince, St. Louis, MI ; a daughter, Kelly Marie (Steve) Noetzel, Canton, MI.; two sisters Eleanor Prince, York, SC and Linda (Jim) Purcell, Sellersburg, IN; five grandsons; three granddaughters; and nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers Troy Prince and Tommy Prince.

The family will receive friends from 11 am - 1 pm at Stark Funeral Professionals in Ypsilanti, January 23, 2022. Interment will be January 24, 2022 in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
