Kenneth Maurice Williams

Kenneth Maurice Williams passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on November 4, 1930, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Kenneth was the son of a British mother who immigrated to the United States with a World War I soldier.

Kenneth began his career at Standard Oil in 1949, which later became Exxon, and dedicated four decades to the company before retiring in 1989. A proud veteran, he served on active duty with the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953 and continued in the reserves until 1959.

On Valentine's Day in 1989, Kenneth married Rosemarie, with whom he shared a loving partnership until her passing on February 14, 2024. Together, they made their home in Venice, Florida, where they delighted in hosting family and friends. In his later years, Kenneth resided at Balfour of Ann Arbor for five years, where he was cherished by the staff for his warmth and kindness.

Kenneth is survived by his stepdaughter Alexandria Oakes and her husband Dennis Oakes; his grandson Eric Oakes; and six great-grandchildren.

Kenneth's life was marked by dedication to his work, service to his country, and love for his family. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm Friday, January 10, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 1 pm.
