Age 61, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022. She was born May 2, 1960, the daughter of Dominic and Genevieve (Potocki) Zazula.

Karen married William Fleming July 21, 2018 in Dearborn, MI. She was a loving wife and mother that liked to watch reality TV, decorate the beautiful home she lived in, and spend time at the beach with a nice glass of Pinot Grigio. She loved to travel. In addition to her annual trip with her family to the east side of the state, she most recently explored Europe, Mackinac Island and the beaches of Florida. Karen also enjoyed going to the movies and, above all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Fleming, son Dominic (Stephanie Coles) Engel, step-daughter Alexandra (Paul Holz) Fleming, mother Genevieve Zazula, and three siblings: Donna Baron, Mike (Annisetta) Zazula and Ken (Suzanne) Zazula.

A funeral service for Karen will be held 11 am Friday, May 6, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals in Ypsilanti, MI. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the funeral home.
