Karen Sue Adams, age 63, passed away on October 23, 2025, in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born on May 11, 1962, in Grand Rapids, MI, to Roy and Patricia (Thomas) Kidwell.

Karen grew up in Catonsville, MD, and later moved to Bay Village, OH, where she graduated from high school. She went on to attend Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI, and made her home in Ann Arbor for the past 20 years. On May 11, 1985, she married the love of her life, Donald Adams Jr., in Severna Park, MD.

For nine years, Karen worked as the office manager at Hope Medical Clinic, where her kindness, compassion, and dedication made a lasting impact on coworkers and patients alike. She was a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church and later attended Keystone Church, where her faith remained an important part of her life.

Karen found great joy in the simple things—sewing, gardening, reading, and decorating her home. She especially loved true crime stories, family gatherings, and most of all, spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Adams Jr.; her children, Paige (Zachary) Cousino, Thomas Adams, and Samuel Adams; her brother, Michael (Sue) Kidwell; her sister, Cynthia (Jay) Myers; her mother-in-law, Rita Getchey; and her cherished grandchildren, Mason, Brooks, and Cora Cousino. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Patricia Kidwell.

A funeral service will be held 12 pm Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Keystone Church (3375 Saline Waterworks Road, Saline). Visitation will begin at 10 am and last until the time of service.

Karen will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and deep love for her family and friends.
