Age 35, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. He was born April 14, 1989 in Superior Township, MI, the son of Jennell Israel.

Justin loved working on his passion project, his motorcycle. He was a hard worker who took great pride in his work. A humble man with a great sense of humor, Justin was also a wonderful cook. He always lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He was a kind and gentle person from the time he was young. Justin was a proud and loving father. He took much pride in fatherhood and loved spending time with his family.

Justin is survived by his life partner Katie McKay, son Tanner Patrick Israel, stepson Devin Jones, mother Jennell Israel, sisters Alayzia Haney, Britney Goodman and Kasey Clarkson; grandparents Alan and Eleanor Israel; maternal grandmother Denise Zizzo; paternal grandfather Luther Goodman, aunt Christina (Wes) Strickland, uncle Steve (Julie) Goodman, beloved dog Ace, several cousins, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 7 pm Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 3 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for Tanner and Devin's college education.
