Joyce Anne Roberts

Passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at her home in Ypsilanti. She was born October 29, 1940 to Charles and Eleanor (Gates) Roberts.

Joyce was a 1958 graduate of Ypsilanti High School. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, with State Elementary Provisional Certificate in 1962. She began a career teaching US Military dependents children in different locations around the world. Joyce also worked for the Internal Revenue Service before retiring.

She enjoyed gardening and a good game of golf in her retirement years.

Joyce was preceded in death by her younger brother Charles Leon (Lee) Roberts, and their parents.

She will be laid to rest 11 am Thursday, August 8, 2024 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
