Joseph W. Pluff Jr., age 61, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in Detroit, MI after a brief illness. Joe was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1964, the son of Joseph and Margaret Pluff.

Joe grew up in Milan, MI and graduated from Milan High School in 1982. He resided in Ann Arbor, MI for most of his adult life. He was a great sports fan, especially of UofM football. Joe was intelligent, funny, great at trivia, loved music, the Beatles and Snoopy (Joe Cool).

He leaves behind friends and family who loved him dearly. Joe is survived by his mother Margaret Pluff, brother Michael Pluff (Pamela), his aunt Heddy Briggs and cousins both here and in England, as well as his lifelong friend Shelly Mazur. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Sr.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
