Age 70, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Annapolis Hospital in Wayne. He was born January 28, 1953 in McDowell, Kentucky, the son of Dent and Jewel (Mosley) Osborne. He married Deborah Collins September 17, 1972 at Old Regular Baptist Church in Ypsilanti. She preceded him in death on November 3, 2014.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to car shows and tinkering with cars, trucks, and tractors. He was an active member of Old Regular Baptist Church and you could call him a jack of all trades.

John is survived by his children Jeremy (Jessica), Melinda (Jason), John (Krisha) and Jason (Jennifer); grandchildren Katie, Marisa, Dakota, Jacie, Ariel, Jerick, Jeremy and Chase; great-grandchildren, Layluh, Addie, Logan, Maverick, Reagan, Isabelle and Weston; sisters Lucille (Rob) and Loretta (Gerard); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, wife and sister Valeria.

Visitation will be held 2-8 pm Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Ypsilanti Old Regular Baptist Church, 5668 Denton Rd., Canton with a prayer service at 6:30 pm. The funeral will be held 11 am Friday, February 3, 2023 with visitation beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ypsilanti Old Regular Baptist Church.
