Jerry Howard Webster, age 62, made his transition, returning to stardust on July 14, 2026 in Merry Lake, MI. Born on October 28, 1963, in Ypsilanti, MI, he was the son of Russell Black and Barbara West. He married Leeann (Halberstadt) Webster on July 10, 1991.

Jerry worked as a mechanic for 33 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially with the group known as "The Boyz Club"—Pastor Ray, Trevor, and Alex. He was always eager to learn new things and enjoyed playing the guitar, keyboard, harmonica, and drums. Some of his greatest joys included taking long walks in nature with his grandchildren, setting out on drives wherever the road might lead, riding motorcycles, and listening to music.

Jerry is survived by his wife, LeeAnn Webster; his children, Mariah Joy Webster, David Webster, Daniel Webster, and Tyler Halberstadt; and his cherished grandchildren, Sophiea, Ethan, and Harper.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Black; his mother, Barbara Webster; his stepfather, Arnold Webster; his daughter, Valerie Webster; his sisters, Janet Webster, Ilene Webster, and Chris (Candy) Swofford; his niece, Ashley Webster; and his friend, David Scott.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Stark Funeral Professionals, with visitation beginning at 10 am. Pastor Gordon Moore will officiate. Cremation to follow.

Jerry will be remembered for his love of family, his lifelong passion for music, and his free spirit. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
