Age 72, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 in Saline, MI. He was born March 25, 1950 in Rainelle, WV, the son of Jesse H. Nelson Jr. and Nora Evelyn Goddard.

Jeff worked for Thermofil Co. in Fowlerville, MI for over 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting military memorabilia and coins.

Jeff is survived by his son Jeffrey L. Nelson Jr., brother-in-law William Glenn of Willis, MI, sister-in-law Sherry Hall of Ypsilanti, MI, niece Tanya (Mike) Casteel of Belleville, MI, nephew Shane Nelson of Woodbury, TN, niece Angela (Shawn) Wright of Saline, MI, niece Jennifer (Jeremy) Laura of Highland Township, MI, nephew Ken (Veronica) Glenn of Willis, MI, nephew Jim (Angie) Glenn of Carleton, MI, nephew Don Hall Jr. of Ypsilanti, MI, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linde S. Nelson, son Jeremy L. Nelson, and brothers Jesse Howard Nelson III and Joseph Allen Nelson.

Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Friday, September 16, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Cremation rites will be performed prior to burial at Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor, MI.
