Jeffrey Dale Moffitt passed away peacefully at his home on September 20, 2025.

Jeff was born on June 24, 1964 at then Highland Park Hospital to Dalton and Treva Moffitt. He was raised in Garden City, Michigan, where he graduated from Garden City High School in 1984. After graduation, Jeff would marry his first wife Susan (sadly passed away in 2008) and they would have three beautiful girls, Jessica, Jennifer and Melissa.

Jeff wore many hats in his life. He was an EMT and a firefighter in Laverne, Tennessee from 1993 to 1995, hanging up his helmet to become a father. Jeff then became a security officer working at Ascension Providence Henry Ford Hospital systems giving 20 years of service and at times working at Garden City Hospital, which is where he met his wife Brandie in 2018. They fell instantly in love and married on August 24, 2019 in Taylor, Michigan.

Jeff love being a husband, father and papa to his family. Amongst many things, Jeff enjoyed going to music concerts, ball games, and he loved photography and travel.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Brandie, children Tyler (Heather) Wood (Belleville), Jessica Moffitt (Brighton), Austin Barwick (Whitmore Lake), Jennifer Moffitt (Roscommon), Melissa Moffitt (Garden City) and Cara Moyle (Howell); grandchildren Myles, Carter, Logan, Cannon, Lucca, Callie, Brixton and Roux; brothers Jack and Rick Moffitt; and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dalton and Treva Moffitt; father-in-law Conrad "Ronnie" Wood, brother Jerry Moffitt, and sister Shirley Joanne Blackman-Odom.

There will be a 1 pm funeral service on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals. Gathering prior to the service will begin at 12 pm.
