Quinn Jr., Hugh "Butch"

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 66, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side Tuesday, December 19, 2023. He was born January 21, 1957 in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Hugh and Lois (Florence) Quinn.

Butch enjoyed building and collecting model cars, listening to music, and working on cars and motors. He loved making home videos and spending time with his family. Butch enjoyed a successful 31-year career at General Motors until his retirement in 2008. He married Donna Riddle September 5, 1980 in Willis, MI, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Butch is survived by his daughter Laura Quinn, son Jessie Quinn, brother Ronnie Quinn, sisters Kathy (Kenny) Hogg and Toni Blandford; and granddaughters Bayleigh Busch, Briana Busch and Zakyra Quinn.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Lois Quinn; mother-in-law Janet Seibert and nephew Ronnie Quinn.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti) with Jimmy Riddle officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 am. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4-8 pm Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
