Helen Catherine Dulinsky, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Ypsilanti, Michigan on June 26, 2025.

Born November 25, 1934, in Weirton, West Virginia, Helen was the daughter of Valentine and Stella (Kowalsky) Zagula. On February 2, 1957, she married the love of her life, Robert Dulinsky Sr., in Niagara Falls, New York. They shared nearly 49 years of marriage before his passing in 2005.

Helen worked in the cafeterias at the University of Michigan dormitories for 30 years, where her warmth and work ethic touched the lives of many students and staff.

A woman of many passions, Helen found great joy in watching birds and golf as well as gardening. She had a remarkable green thumb and could often be found tending to her yard with care and pride. A devoted Detroit Tigers fan, she rarely missed a game, cheering on her team through the seasons.

Helen is survived by her loving children, Brenda Coleman and Robert Dulinsky Jr.; cherished grandchildren Roy, Julie, Joy, Shayna, Kristin, and Ashley; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Cynthia Greer and Becky Mullins, and brothers Sony and Richard Zagula.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4-8 pm at Stark Funeral Professionals in Ypsilanti. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 1 pm, with Father Tim Krukowski officiating. Helen will be laid to rest at Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Helen will be remembered for her strength, her kind heart, and the deep love she had for her family and the beauty of nature. She will be dearly missed.
