Gregory L. McDonald, age 58, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2025, at his home in Ypsilanti, MI. He was born on January 20, 1967, in Tecumseh, MI, the son of Clarence and Imogene (Spivey) McDonald.

Greg grew up with a creative spirit and a love for adventure. He enjoyed making detailed clay models of cars and riding BMX bikes. Greg loved life deeply and had a natural gift for helping others. He was devoted to his family and dedicated his life to his wife and children.

Greg is survived by his mother, Imogene; his five children, Tiffany (Jeffrey) Morris, Shanelle Henry, Miya McDonald, Christian (Kayla) McDonald, and Kylie McDonald; and eight beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Sharon (Mark) Cole, Timothy (Sue) McDonald, and Theresa (Robert) Chambers. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence.

In keeping with his family's wishes, simple cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time. Greg will be remembered for his kindness, creativity, and the love he shared so freely with those around him.
