Caldwell, Gregory Wayne

Age 49, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 in Clinton, MI. He was born July 28, 1973 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Phillip Caldwell and Catherine (Ashby) Bennett.

Gregory enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing or working in the yard. He was an avid gun collector. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and puppies.

Gregory is survived by his wife of seven years, Sara (Smerek) Caldwell, daughter Erica (Justin) Brewer, grandchildren Madison and Scottie; parents Cathy (Larry) Bennett and Dean (Kristina) Caldwell; grandmother Lola Ashby, brother Derek (Lesly) Caldwell, niece Alayna Caldwell, and nephew Ryan Caldwell.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Forrest Ashby, Mamaw Ruth Caldwell and Papaw Floyd Caldwell.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 10 am. Pastor Jarod Juriga will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 3-8 pm Friday, October 28, 2022.
