Marshall, Gordon William

Ypsilanti, Michigan

Age 77, went home to be with the Lord October 3, 2024. He was born November 21, 1946 in Detroit, MI, the son of Lynn and Mary (Chevela) Marshall.

Gordon graduated from Ferris State University and then went on to work as a firefighter at the GM power train plant for 38 years. He attended South Side Baptist Tabernacle for many years. Gordon enjoyed watching westerns, having a good meal and loved to read.

Gordon is survived by his daughter Kimberly Marshall, son Eric Marshall and grandson James Marshall.

Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Monday, October 7, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). A funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at South Side Baptist Tabernacle (6710 Textile Road, Ypsilanti, MI) with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Gordon will be laid to rest at Union-Udell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or South Side Baptist Tabernacle .
