Monty, Glen Paul

Willis, MI

Age 53, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at Trinity Health Hospital – Ann Arbor. He was born July 24, 1971 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Donald and Judy (Phillips) Monty. He cherished the two years he spent with his fiancée Alicia Whittenberg.

Glen was football coach for Lincoln High School's JV, freshman and alumni teams. He was an active member of the Buzzed Skeeter Cornhole League. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at his cabin with family. He was self-employed as contractor for over 30 years.

Glen is survived by his daughters Kristina (Mike) Moseley and Bailey (Ricky) Monty; fiancée Alicia Whittenberg, brother Scott (Marianne) Monty, granddaughter Daisie Wegienka, nephews Caleb (Shianne) Benefiel and Zachary Benefiel; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Judy Monty.

The family has chosen simple cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held 1-4 pm Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 9486 Willis Road, Willis, MI 48191.
