Milan, MI

Age 80, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at his home. He was born February 20, 1942 in Alma, MI, the son of Roy and Clara (Waver) Greenwood.

Gary married Diana Dunavan November 9, 1962 and she survives. He was a loving family man and devoted member of Faithway Baptist Church. He enjoying singing and was a proud Milan resident for 46 years.

In addition to his wife Diana Greenwood, Gary is survived by his children Tina (Bernard) Smith, Mark (Pat) Greenwood, Roger (Barb) Greenwood, Pam (Chris) Wass, Laura (the late Toby) Moger, and Gary (Sarah) Greenwood; 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, siblings Bill (Mary) Greenwood and Diane Carr; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Greenwood.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, September 19, 2022 at Faithway Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10 am (2020 Packard Road, Ypsilanti). Pastor Scott Estell will officiate. Gary will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton Township, MI.
