Age 83, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 at her home. She was born June 3, 1941 in Yokosuka, Japan, the daughter of Kazumi and Hiroe Kumasaka. She married Bobby G. Dudley September 16, 1970 at the American Embassy in downtown Tokyo, and he survives.

Fumie moved to the United States in February 1971. She was a loyal parishioner of South Side Baptist Tabernacle in Ypsilanti. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting and performing alterations on clothing. She loved cooking and prepared the most amazing food.

In addition to her loving husband of 54 years, Fumie is survived by her children David K. (Iris) and Tim (Vikki) Dudley; grandchildren Nathan and Hana (Garett); brother Toshimi Kumasaka, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday, April 10, 2025 at South Side Baptist Tabernacle (6710 Textile Road, Ypsilanti). Pastor Chris Wass will officiate. Visitation will be held 11 am until time of service. Fumie will be laid to rest in Romulus Cemetery, Romulus.
