Davis Jr., Fred Lee

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 69, made his transition Friday, December 8, 2023 at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. He was born January 9, 1954 in Detroit, MI, the son of Fred L. Sr. and Verlouis (Small) Davis.

Fred was a member of Community Church of God in Ypsilanti, where his father was the pastor for 39 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Fred is survived by his sister Reverend Portia Davis-Mann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Fred L. Davis Sr. and Verlouis Davis.

An open mic memorial service will be held 4-6 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Davis Community Center, on the parking lot of Community Church of God (855 Jefferson, Ypsilanti).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davis Youth Scholarship c/o Community Church of God. Please note Davis Youth Scholarship in the memo.
