Tykosky, Frank Lewis

Ypsilanti, MI (Formerly of Dearborn, MI)

Age 93, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was born February 18, 1929 in Detroit, MI, the son of Frank A. Tykosky and May (Novak).

Frank worked as a superintendent for the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Ypsilanti, MI. On July 10, 1954, he married Barbara Noland, who passed away August 5, 2007. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was known as the family handyman.

Frank is survived by his children, Frank A. (Kim) Tykosky and Kathy (Kevin) Busch; grandchildren, Kayla (Matthew) Swem, Karlee Tykosky, Laura (Joshua) Schettler, David Busch, Kelley (Michael) Burt and Melissa Tykosky; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, and Colton.

In addition to his wife Barbara, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael; daughter, Diane; parents, Frank and May; and his sister Jean Holecek.

A funeral Mass will be held 11 am (in state 10 am), Thursday, June 30, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 411 Florence St., Ypsilanti, MI. The family will receive friends at Stark Funeral Professionals 101 S. Washington from 3-7 pm Wednesday, June 29 ^th , 2022. Frank will be laid to rest at St John Cemetery in Ypsilanti, MI.
