Florence Gail Broniak died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the age of 87. Gail was born on November 4, 1938, in Lilly, PA, the daughter of Albert and Agnes Kearney. She was the youngest of 10 children.

Gail was joined in marriage to Henry Frank Broniak on September 28, 1957 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Lilly, PA. They were blessed to share 62 years together in marriage before Henry's death in 2019.

Gail and Henry were blessed with five children, Kimberly Louise Sparks, Judith Anne Karvel, Denise Lynn Harrison, Deborah Elaine Montalvo and Henry Frank Broniak Jr. They were also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren which were all a great joy in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Judith Anne Karvel, husband Henry Broniak, five brothers and four sisters.

In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Gail enjoyed sewing, knitting, pottery, and cheering on her "fighting Irish" football team. Gail also had a great devotion to The Blessed Virgin Mary and prayed many rosaries to her. It is her strong faith in the Blessed mother that gives us hope in her salvation.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 9:30 am to 11 am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Livonia, MI, followed by the funeral mass at 11 am. Interment will immediately follow mass at St. John's Cemetery in Ypsilanti, MI.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
