Williams, Ethan

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 74, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at his home. He was born October 31, 1948 in Blaine, MS, the son of Napoleon and Frankie (Miles) Williams.

Ethan was employed as a centerless grinder at General Motors Company for over 38 years. In his free time, he enjoyed walking and listening to WDIA.

Ethan is survived by his wife Ruby Williams, sons Adrian (DyAnn) Bradley and Ethan R (Shequita) Williams; grandsons Tyrahn Armstrong-Bradley and Ethan R Williams Jr.; granddaughter Sakai Bradley, siblings Bertha Clemons, Napoleon Williams Jr., Bettye (Johnny) Epps and Fannie Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Martha Henry, Arthur Lee Williams, McArthur Williams and Glover Williams.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 am Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Reverend James E. Hendricks will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 am until time of service. Ethan will be laid to rest in United Memorial Gardens, Superior Township.
