McCoy, Elsa I. "Elsie"

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 94, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 24, 2022 at her home. She was born January 6, 1928 in Ranger, WV, the daughter of Harry and Hazel (Smith) Webb.

Elsie enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. She liked sewing, cooking and baking her delicious lemon pies. She married Earnest McCoy December 31, 1945 in Hamlin, WV, and he survives.

In addition to her husband, Elsie is survived by her children Rhonda (Randall) Vanover and Kirby McCoy; brother Larry (Kay) Webb, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Vernon (Linda) Webb, Barbra (Bill) Wilson and Deborah (Ed) Edwards.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, October 3, 2022 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home in West Hamlin, WV. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8 pm Sunday, October 2, 2022. Elsie will be laid to rest at Sanders Cemetery in Ranger, WV.
