Ella Lesueur, Age 80 passed away Friday, July 28, 2023. She was the daughter of Benjamin Grant Ivey and Helen (Toliver) Ivey. Ella was born in Pueblo, Colorado, as one of 8 children including her late brothers, Knorvel, Winford, Raymond, Ben and sister Dorothy.

Ella was a fun loving, kind, creative and fearless mother of four children, Tommy, Bennie, Robert and Helene. She enjoyed traveling to Europe, gourmet cooking and was an accomplished painter of more than 30 beautiful works of art.

Ella is survived by sisters Helena and Frances plus other family. She was a proud military veteran who worked as a Medic in the Army. After earning her BSN from Eastern University in 1977, Ella went on to work as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, then spent another 19 years in the Main OR at University of Michigan Hospital before retiring.

A small Private ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals.
