Elenora Jane Glover Isaac of Taylor, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1930, in Clinton, Indiana, to Robert F. and Myrtle M. Glover. Elenora was the youngest of four children. In 1936, the Glover family moved to Detroit, Michigan, where she attended Trowbridge Elementary, Garfield Junior High School, and later Northeastern High School.

In 1949, Elenora married Bruno Martinez, and together they had one daughter, Rene' Elena. In 1975, she relocated to Ypsilanti, Michigan, where she met and married Elzia (Lucky) Isaac. They shared many years together until his passing in 1992.

Elenora worked diligently throughout her life in hospitals, convalescent homes, and hotels. After retirement, she continued her life of service by caring for young children in her home—children she cherished as her own.

A devoted Christian, Elenora worshiped faithfully, and love reading her Bible and prayer. She became a member of Christ Temple Baptist Church in 1980, where she sang in the Senior Choir, regularly attended Sunday School, and served as a Church Mother until her health no longer allowed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Myrtle Glover; her daughter, Rene' E. Martinez; her husband, Elzia (Lucky) Isaac; two brothers, Jack D. Glover and Charles E. Glover; her sister, Josephine Jones; and her loving cousin, Barbara Ann Porter.

Elenora leaves to cherish her memory her sister-in-law, Shirley Mullen, and stepdaughter, Evonne Laflouria, both of Ann Arbor, MI; her God-son and God-daughter, Larry and Macie Lindsey of Greer, SC (formerly of Saline, MI); her granddaughters, Kayla Lindsey, Briana Lindsey, and Asia Lindsey; and her great-grandsons, Khamari Perry and Kameron Kidd. She also leaves special friends Rachel Jones, Dian Johnson, Nancy Thornton, Bonita Johnson and a host of cousins and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Christ Temple Baptist Church (2372 Holmes Road, Ypsilanti) with viewing beginning at 9:30 am. The family will receive friends 4-8 pm Friday, October 3, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Elenora will be laid to rest in United Memorial Gardens.
