Age 76, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022 at VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born April 24, 1946 in Georgetown, OH, the son of William and Rosetta (Souder) Combs.

Edward loved working on cars, riding motorcycles and racing. He enjoyed camping and treasured time spent with his family.

Edward is survived by his children Rose (Rick) Lorenz, Joe (Christen) Combs, Edward (LoAnn) Combs Jr., Gary (Anna Gonzalez) Combs, Derrick Combs, Robyn Combs, Darrell, Dusty and Tim; grandchildren Josh, Amber, Madi, Nick, Nora, Chelsea, Joey, Allison, Eddie III, John, Clara, Anthony, Madison, Savanna, Kyle, Dariana, Jerome, Gabriella, Chloe and Tay; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings Ronald Combs, Wayne Combs, Billy Combs, Diane Lanning, Linda Clark, Tim Combs, Vada Combs, Tony Combs and Drexel Combs; in addition to many loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Clayton Combs, Marva McVey and Darlene Alexander.

A funeral service will be held 3 pm Friday, October 7, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 pm until time of service.
