Edna is survived by her two sons, Derek (Charleen) Hewitt of Adrian and R. Mark Hewitt and his partner, William Swisher of Largo FL; two grandchildren, Katherine "Katie" Hewitt, and John Hewitt; her sister, Ruthie Adams of Ypsilanti; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Hewitt of Grass Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Truman and Hanford "Jack" Caldwell; brothers-in-law, Billy Adams, Edward Hewitt, and Michael Moynihan; and her sisters-in-law, Hazel Caldwell, Jane Caldwell, and Patricia Moynihan. Edna's family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hampton Manor and to Hospice of Lenawee for their exceptional care.

Per Edna's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Monday, May 16, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals with Pastor John White officiating. The family will receive friends noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee .
