Doyle Lee Steele passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Ann Arbor MI. Born August 31, 1946, he was the oldest child to Clyde Steele and Anna Marie Curnutte Steele. Doyle was a lifelong resident of Ypsilanti MI.

His family and friends will remember his love of sports, especially football, motorcycles, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his three children Patrick Lee (Dawn) Steele, Kimberly Jo Steele, and Jackie Lynn Steele; two brothers Earnest Milton (Debbie) Steele and Ronald Dale (June) Steele; four grandchildren Mary Caitlin Jackson, Carazanna Renee Jackson, Kayla Dean Jackson, and Olivia Renee Steele; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Steele and Anna Marie Steele; daughter Leslie Renee Steele, brother Dennis Ray Steele, and sister Barbara Jean Steele Oujout.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 10 am (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Doyle will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
