Age 96, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024. He was born July 4, 1928 in Roxana, KY, the son of Rufus and Martha (Whitaker) Hogg.

Doyle was a lifetime member of Ypsilanti Assembly of God. He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with Ham Radios and traveling the world. He loved spending time with his family.

Doyle is survived by two sons, Darwin (Gail) Hogg of Harrison, MI and Kenneth (Cathy) Hogg of Lewiston, MI; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; step-sisters Sharon, Mary and Ellen; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Artis (1970), second wife Nora (2014) and son William.

The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday, August 23, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). The funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the funeral home with viewing beginning at 10 am. Pastor Jesse Yoder will officiate. Burial to follow in Alban Cemetery, Ypsilanti Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ypsilanti Assembly of God or Arbor Hospice .
