Williams, Dorothy "Juanita"

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 94, passed away June 22, 2025 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born September 10, 1930 in Union City, TN, the daughter of Carey and Lorraine (Casey) Long.

Juanita retired from the University of Michigan Hospital in 2001 after a successful 18-year career. She was a loyal parishioner of Greater Fountain Church of God in Christ. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family.

Juanita is survived by her children Artelia, Darrick, Randall and Charlie; and a host of loving grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie F. Williams, son Duane, her parents, her siblings and special niece Jeanetta Davis.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Monday, July 21, 2025 at Greater Fountain Church of God in Christ with Elder Page officiating (530 W. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103).  Family will begin gathering at 10:30 am.
