Age 84, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022. She was born February 1, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Nathaniel and Jessie Mae Upshaw.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Abundant Life Ministries Church (855 East Clark Road, Ypsilanti) with Reverend Jerry Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 10 am until the time of service. Dorothy will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens (4800 Curtis Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170).

Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Friday, September 2, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti).
