Age 101, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Michigan Medicine Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born July 14, 1923 in Albany, NY. She was married to Calvin Remsberg and he preceded her in death.

Dorothy was a nurse and a housewife most of her life.

Survivors include daughter Sue Haley of Westland, son Randy (Diane) Oakes of Milford, grandson Rick Andrew (Meagan) Haley, great-grandson Brendan Alexander Haley, sister Ann Voss of New York, brother Steve (Katherine) Remsen of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

Burial will take place in Washtenong Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
