Sharp, Doris Ann

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 85, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 at Gilbert Residence in Ypsilanti, MI. She was born February 3, 1938 in Whitley County, Kentucky, the daughter of Everett and Nora (Anderson) Reeves.

Doris married Frank Sharp February 4, 1957 and together they shared 56 loving years until his passing December 28, 2013. She was employed as a school bus attendant for the Willow Run school system for 20 years and was a member of Ridge Road Church of Christ in Ypsilanti.

Doris is survived by sons Leslie Sharp of Oscoda, MI and Garry Sharp of Dexter; grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan and Zachary; sister Wanda Sizemore, and sisters-in-law Margie Reeves and Pat Reeves.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charles Reeves and Everett Reeves, and brother-in-law Grant Sizemore.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, September 18, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 11 am. Brother Leonard White will officiate. Doris will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
