Age 92, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025 at The Gilbert Residence in Ypsilanti, MI. He was born October 24, 1932 in Dearborn, MI, the son of Robert and Goldie (Friend) Wood.

Donald worked as a job technician at Ford Motor Company for 31 years, until his retirement in 1985. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers baseball, fishing and living up north.

Donald is survived by his children Donald, Ralph, Tonya and Stephen.

He was preceded in death by his children Mitchell and Pamela, as well as his parents.

A funeral service will be held 7 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals with Pastor John White officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4 pm until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gilbert Residence or Humane Society of Huron Valley .
