Donald David Sanborn, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2026, in Ypsilanti, MI. He was born on August 22, 1953, in Altus, OK, to Donald and Shirley (Vandeventer) Sanborn.

Donald worked for General Motors Company for many years before retiring. He was a man who appreciated the simple comforts of life. He enjoyed eating good food, watching television, and playing cards—pastimes that brought him relaxation and quiet happiness.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah L. Sanborn.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Tara Booth.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
