Murray, Donald Reavus

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 87, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at Trinity Health – Ann Arbor Hospital. He was born January 20, 1937 in Rockhold, KY, the son of Fred and Sara (Johnson) Murray.

Donald enjoyed spending time with his family, having and visiting yard sales, as well as picnicking outdoors. After 35 years of employment, he was very proud to have retired and absolutely loved retirement.

Donald is survived by his children Donald Ray, Richard (Deanna) Murray, Mary Kirchoff, David (Rachel) Murray and Jimmy Murray; grandchildren Brian Sharp, Rebecca Sharp, David Murray, Jimmy Wayne Pepper, Thomas James Pepper, David (Faith) Murray II, Austin Murray, Tyler Murray, Alyssa (Kyle) Tripp and Haley Murray; as well as many great and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife Minnie (Poore) Murray.

Viewing will take place 2-3 pm Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). No services will be held. Donald will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
