Dianna Warden, age 76 peacefully went to join her Lord and Savior on August 15, 2024. She passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Dianna was born in Scioto County, Ohio to Russell Mounts and Drusilla Jordan. She would later move to Michigan with her family. She would spend summers as a child in Kentucky with her great-grandparents where she learned the value of hard work. Her great-grandparents were also instrumental on her path to her faith. At the age of 10 Dianna was baptized in the creek in front of the Lost Creek Baptist Church in Kentucky. She would carry her faith throughout her life and share that with her children.

Dianna was a school bus driver for Milan Area Schools for many years. During this time she made lifelong friends with several of her co-workers. She also became good friends with one of her students' moms and held a special bond with the student as well. Dianna loved driving special ed students and took great pride in the care and love she showed her students. Even after retirement she stayed in touch with several of the students and their families. Her students loved her.

Dianna enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. She loved to travel and have adventures. Throughout her life she loved to play softball, enjoyed water skiing, motorcycle riding and anything that was adventurous. Later in life she would find a love of gardening and took great pride in how her garden looked.

Dianna had a love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will forever stand the test of time. Her happiest moments were spent with them and her closest friends. With her big heart she would make several special life long friends that she truly cherished and were more like family than friends.

Dianna is survived by her son Michael (Robyn) Warden, her daughter Michele (James Heiler) Cromer, grandson Doug (Kristin) Kimlin, Kayla (Kyle) Burton, Michael (Catherine) Droste,Dakota (Justice Manchester) Droste and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ronald (Lisa) Mounts, sister Tena Mounts, brother Perry (Deanna) Mounts and step-mother Myrna Mounts.

Dianna was preceded in death by her son James Douglas Warden, her father Russell Mounts, mother Drusilla Jordan and great-grandson Douglas James Kimlin Jr.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 19, 2024, from 4-8pm at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti, MI). A funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church (410 Oregon Street, Ypsilanti, MI). Interment at Marble Park, Milan.
