Diane Dawn Poore, age 67, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Willis, Michigan. She was born on October 27, 1958, in Trenton, Michigan, to George and Rose (McDonald) Poore, and was later raised by her mother and stepfather, Norman Benschoter.

Diane spent many years working as an assembly worker for Ford Motor Company before her retirement. She made her home throughout her life in Ypsilanti, Belleville, and Willis, Michigan.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Diane loved listening to music, and in her younger years especially enjoyed attending concerts and spending time at amusement parks. She valued time with her family and created lasting memories with those closest to her.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Brandie (Poore) Howard and Christopher Howard; her grandchildren, Connor (Stevie), Helena, and Natalya; her great-granddaughter Kaylee; her sisters, Susie Sizemore and Robin Sweet; her brother, Wayne Oley; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Rose and Norman Benschoter; her father, George Poore; and two siblings.

A memorial service will be held 3 pm Friday, March 27, 2026 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 1 pm.
