Rivis, Diana N.

Age 72, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at St. Mary Hospital in Livonia, MI. She was born November 12, 1950 in Highland Park, MI, the daughter of Pavel and Eufrosina (Dobrin) Rivis.

Diana worked as a manager at Edwards Brothers, Ann Arbor and then at Superior Township, MI for many years until her retirement in 2013. She enjoyed reading, writing, art and ballet. She had a fondness for travel and a strong love of animals.

Diana is survived by her niece Maritza Padgett, nephews Donald Dobrin and Nikolai Dobrin, and cousins Liviu Dobrin, Victor Dobrin and others in Michigan and Romania.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Aurel Dobrin.

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 12 pm (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Huron Valley .
