Diana Lee Richards, 77, passed away on September 28, 2025, in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Daniel and Ilene (Himes) Scripter on March 3, 1948.

Diana worked for many years at the Keg Party Store in Ypsilanti, where she was a familiar and friendly face to many in the community.

Diana split her time between Ypsilanti and Dunedin, Florida. She enjoyed swimming, painting, and spending time with her family. Diana will be remembered for her quiet strength, kindness, and steady presence in the lives of those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Richards; her sister, Kathy (Steve) Marsh; her brother, Dan Scripter; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, David Richards Jr.

Diana will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held 6 pm Monday, October 6, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation starting at 5 pm. Diana will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
