It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Paul Joseph, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and cherished member of our family who departed this life on May 17, 2025 at the age of 81.

David was a man of great faith whose love for God guided every step of his life. He was a selfless supporter of his family, always putting their needs above his own and offering unwavering love and encouragement, in his own special way. He was married to Mary Lou for 36 years before her passing in 2022, and together with their children, they built a beautiful family filled with laughter, music, and love.

He is survived by his beloved children, Michael Smith, Mitchell (Staci) Joseph, and Michele Joseph, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews who will deeply miss his presence.

A lifelong fan of Michigan State football and basketball, David enjoyed watching games at home with his family. A fan of Elvis Presley, David found great joy in singing and performing as an Elvis impersonator at local events and karaoke, playing his guitar with family at reunions, and sharing his love of music with those around him. He also had a special talent for magic tricks, delighting family and friends with his playful spirit and sense of humor.

David's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 10 am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of this extraordinary man.
