David Lee Cook, age 76, passed away August 27, 2025 in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born in Ypsilanti, MI, to James and Ruby (Griffin) Cook. He was the owner of Ground FX Lawn Services for more than 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed auto racing, boating and radio-controlled vehicles. He had a love for music and was a drummer. David belonged to Immanuel Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

To cherish his memory, David is survived by his brother Roger D. Cook, nephews Matthew J. Cook, Michael J. Cook, Fred Cook and Danny Cook; great-nephew Noah Cook, and great-nieces Kaylie Cook and Danielle Cook. David was preceded in death by Pat D. Cook, Kennie J. Cook and Patrick Cook.

An 11:30 am funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Stark Funeral Professionals, Ypsilanti. Visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial to follow at Washtenong Memorial Park.
