Age 57, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was born May 6, 1963 in Ann Arbor, the son of Harley James and Jane R. (Agar) Hough.
On August 21, 1982, he married Karolee J. Thomas in Grand Blanc, MI (he was the tallest man she ever knew).
Darrell retired after more than 35 years of dedicated service to Edwards Brothers-Malloy, where he enjoyed many close friendships and memories.
Darrell was a cherished part of the family at Grace Immanuel Bible Church in Novi, as well as a 33-year-member of the Washtenaw Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed gunsmithing, skeet and trap shooting, pistol shooting, knife-making and working on motorcycles, though he had no greater joy than to spend time with his grandkids, creating projects and encouraging them in the Lord.
He was a beloved husband, father, gramps, son, brother, brother-in-Christ, and friend to many and will be deeply missed.
In addition to wonderfully loving his wife of 38 years, survivors include: his children, Robert James (Lindsey) Hough and Andrea Marie (Daniel) Eady; grandchildren, Dutch James, Fletcher David, Harley Thomas, Colton Darrell, Sedona Grace, Greyson Robert and Pepper Jane; his mother Jane; siblings Dale (Monica) Hough and Jennifer (Frank) Konieczki; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
