Darlene Elnora Wolf of Ypsilanti, age 90, went to be with her beloved husband, Raymond Leonard Wolf, on November 12, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1935  to William "Stanley" and Mamie (Alfery) Pankow and raised in Troy, MI, the proud defender of her brother Tom.

Darlene was a fiercely loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmama. As a machinist, was the best "nutter" in the shop. She always did her best and pushed others to do the same, and laughed about the double meaning of her title.

She was equal parts tough and tender — a little sharp, a little sweet, and always funny. She loved cooking, traveling, gambling, fishing, boating in St. Helen, watching the Tigers, and being surrounded by family. She was quick to step in when someone needed help, and anyone who walked through her door was given a plate they weren't allowed to refuse. She'd tell you "you're too thin".

She handled life with humor, grit, and truly lived it on her own terms. Though she will be deeply missed, she'll never be gone. Her untamable soul left an imprint on  everyone she met, and her family won't spend much time crying over the wonderful and long life she lived. As she always said, "Stop crying — it'll only give you a headache."

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Thomas; her children Daniel Wayne Bradley and Linda Katherine Morgan [Terry (survives)]; stepson Leonard Wolf; and her grandson Joseph Grebe, Sr.

She is survived by her grandchildren Heather Tasker, Kari (Kelly Mason) Grebe, Kris Grebe, Nichole Morgan, and Jeremy Morgan.

She is also survived by her step-children — Larry, Linda (Bill), Judy (Dan), Chuck (Julie), and Jim Wolf— and by uncountable grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of whom she loved deeply and treated as her own, just as Ray did hers. One of her proudest achievements was finding the best man (inarguably), her true love, and best friend and joining families.

Her and Raymond's ashes will be interred at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti, MI in the Spring. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
