Darelle Kelly, age 56, made his transition June 29, 2026 at his home in Superior Township, MI. He was born on July 25, 1969, in Ann Arbor, MI.

Darelle was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing, listening to music, visiting the casino, and joking with family and friends. He especially cherished the time he spent with his favorite cousin, Marcus, and favorite aunt, Vera. Back in the day, he enjoyed many midnight rides with Chris.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Margaret Kelley; his three children, Jayla, Jarelle, and Shaunticia; and his two beloved grandchildren, Serenity and Zyion. He is also survived by his aunties, Mable Kelley, Vera Kelley, Elaine Kelley, and Jaqueline Harris; his special brother/cousin, Marcus Patton; cousins, Christopher McGhee, Wendy Kelly, Eddie Beach, Towana Kelley, Tamika Kelley, Michael Johnson, Roberta Riggins, Tiffany Harris, and Sha'Nasia Brewer; along with a host of other cousins, family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Darelle was preceded in death by his sister, Tonya Lee; his grandmothers, Cora Crawford-Pope and Vernice Harris; his father, Lavelle Harris; his aunties, Jennifer Beach, Mary Jean Williams, and Lois Martin; his uncles, Roosevelt Brooks, Willie Riggins, Michael Patton, and Lawrence Harris; and his cousins, Jehkota Harris, Ryan Thompson, and Roshanda Turentine.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, July 6, 2026 at Stark Funeral Professionals with Pastor Gordon Moore officiating. Family hour will begin at 10 am. Darelle will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton Township, MI.
