Cora Lee Fry, age 93, passed away on February 4, 2026.

She was born on June 5, 1932. Cora was saved at a young age and remained grounded in her faith throughout her life. She was a longtime member of Bellview Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama, where she sang in the choir. She also enjoyed reading and rarely passed up a good book.

Cora moved to Michigan in 1951 and made her life there. On February 7, 1953, she married Frank Fry in Ypsilanti, Michigan. They shared many years together before his passing.

Her family meant everything to her. She was the proud mother of three children and was blessed with ten grandsons, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-grand angels, and one great-great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; four brothers; two sisters; and two great-grand angels.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Dan) Myers, Howard (Ann) Fry, and Robert (Denise) Fry; her brother, Jackie (Sharon) Voss; her sister, Dean (Ruben) Cook; her grandsons, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered most for her steady faith and the love she had for her family.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, February 9, 2026 at North Prospect Baptist Church (1400 N. Prospect Road). Visitation will be held 2-6 pm Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Cora will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery.
