Age 80, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at her home. She was born January 10, 1942 in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of Rosa Lee Merriweather.

Clydell liked shopping and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, including her church family, and enjoyed helping others. She served as an usher at church services for over 50 years.

Clydell is survived by her son John (Antanita) Pickett; grandchildren John Wesley, Jené Wesley and Johnathan Pickett; great-grandchild Aubrelle Whitsett, sister Michelle Jackson, niece Shayna Caleb and nephew Jamaal Jones.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Shoshanna Wesley.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Saving Faith Christian Fellowship Church ( 1450 Midway Road, Ypsilanti).
